A Cathedral of Christ The King Wedding

A Cathedral of Christ The King Wedding

Downtown Atlanta Wedding at Cathedral of Christ The King

I really couldn’t describe, in a blog post anyway, the beauty of Jarod and Briana’s love– and the love they have surrounding them. What an honor, and blessing, it was to be able to celebrate alongside Briana and Jarod, and to document this absoultely incredible moment in their lives.

I started the day outside of Cathedral of Christ The King, admiring the absolutely stunning architecture, and beauty of the wildlife around me– right smack dab in the middle of the city. It was raining, off and on, and there was a family inside finishing up a baptism.

Down in the bridal suite, the girls were hustling and bustling. Briana was beaming with Joy while she and her bridesmaids got ready for her wedding. I scrambled to grab a few detail shots (which is harder to do without a second photographer!!).

Within just a couple minutes, we headed outside for some quick portraits. The girls were simply stunning.

Not long afterward, Jarod and his gang showed up. I had so much fun with his crew!

We headed back inside for a few final touches while guests were arriving for the ceremony.

Briana asked if she could have a moment with Jarod to pray over their upcoming vows. What a special moment.

Onto the ceremony.

Stunning!!!!! Right?! (Thank you to the AWESOME folks at Cathedral of Christ The King for allowing us the opportunity to sneak this one last shot in!! And a huge secret thanks to the brave bridesmaid who took off her heels to toss Briana’s veil!)

After their ceremony, we headed to Downtown Canton for a few fun portraits.

Can every wedding party of 14 be this amazing?!?!?!

And onto the party!!! Briana and Jarod’s wedding reception was at Cherokee Conference Center in Canton. The folks at this place are so sweet, and their space is beautiful.

After the bride and bridesmaids performed an INCREDIBLE dance, everyone (including the DJ) joined them on the dance floor. (SO cool!!!)

And, though it was raining, we took this opportunity to sneak outside for a few portraits. This one was my favorite!

Briana and Jarod- thank you SO much for choosing me as your wedding photographer, and trusting me with capturing these moments for you. What an honor.

And to the talented team of vendors: y’all ROCK. I hope to see every single one of you again!
