A Summer Wedding at The Legends Club in Augusta
Sara and Ki‘s summer wedding at The Legends Club in Augusta was so much fun!! We started the day, as usual, with wedding day details. I loved that Sara had a hanger made for her dress; it really adds a special touch to the photos.
Also, I really love how her engagement and wedding ring rest so perfectly on top of Ki’s wedding band. The femininity laying atop the masculine ring… I’m a sucker for wedding day details.

Finally, once the guys dropped off the bouquets, the gals set them on top of the floor A/C vents, and I swear the whole house had a faint smell of beautiful florals. As Sara and her girls got their hair and makeup done, Bobby (the Videographer), my second shooter, and I swooned over all the precious details inside her details box.
Perhaps the coolest of all were the Hanboks. These traditional outfits are worn in the Korean culture during special events. They’re known for their vibrant colors and simple lines, and I think they’re super cool!

As we were all preparing for Sara and Ki’s first look, the summer clouds did what summer clouds do: it started to pour. Our initial plan was to set the two of them up in the gorgeous gazebo outside, but the pollen and various other summer dusts threatened the perfection of her wedding dress. We decided to stay inside.
Sounds horrible, right? It SO wasn’t!!! Wait until you see Sara’s mom’s GORGEOUS living room, y’all.
Along the way, Sara’s mom and dad were so gracious in allowing us to rearrange all their furniture in preparation for their first look. I think they were too wrapped up in excitement for Sara to even care.
Later, the girls oo’ed and ah’ed over Sara during the bridal reveal!!
As the girls helped Sara into her jewelry, Ki and his guys were pulling up out front!!!
Just as Ki arrived, Sara helped her dad with the final touches on his boutonniere.
Ki was SO excited to see his bride.
Can we take a moment to talk about the love in their eyes?!

After we rushed through some photos with the wedding party, everyone jumped in their cars and headed to The Legends Club. The bride and groom’s parents were outside the ceremony doors happily welcoming every single one of the 270+ guests.
During the ceremony at Korean weddings, the bride and groom honor each other’s parents with a bow and a very sweet hug. I really love this one of Ki hugging his dad, framed by Sara and his mom embracing.
After their ceremony, we headed outside for a few minutes for some newlywed portraits around the property. Though the venue is in the middle of a not-so-picturesque parking lot, the side of the building offered a nice private area for us to play. Bobby helped me dodge the cars driving by.
Don’t you LOVE her bouquet?!
Y’all… THIS guy breakdancing was so awesome!!
Thank you so much for welcoming me into your parents’ home, and for choosing me to celebrate alongside you two as you married the love of your life. I hope to see you two again some day. Congratulations to you. I love you both so much!!
