These two!! Not only are Roswell Mill and Vickery Creek Falls gorgeous, but this was a particularly exciting day for me for two reasons!! This my very first opportunity to work with a bride who has an Indian heritage, and also these two helped me get my toes wet (quite literally, you’ll see!) for the upcoming wedding season.
Y’all… Between now and November, there are 6 engagement sessions, 7 weddings, and 20 sessions. I cannot think of a better way to kick off this season!!
Barrington Hall
When I first met Corey and Akshada, I noticed that both of them really love aspects of Akshada’s Indian heritage; Corey is looking forward to Corey playing some awesome roles in their wedding. I’m pretty excited about all the games Akshada’s family is going to play with Corey on their wedding day. (Did you know they do stuff like play keep away with the groom’s shoes, and another game that’s pretty much ‘find the treasure’ with stuff spread on their ceremony stage?? SO FUN!)
Hanging out with these two at their session was a blast. I felt like I was kicking back with two friends, and I learned *so* much about them. I’m kind of jealous of Akshada’s adventures… She literally went hang gliding through the himalayas a few years ago. She’s also sky dived TWICE, and jumped off a bridge once.
Roswell Mill
Anyway… Obviously these two enjoy adventure, and wouldn’t you guess that from their engagement session. We had a BLAST!
