Aren’t they the sweetest?! Kristen and Ryan are engaged, y’all, and I think they’re ready to tell the world! I am so thankful they chose me as their photographer because I’m really looking forward to their wedding. Not sure if you’ve heard of Forrest Hills Mountain Resort, but it’s beautiful. (And I’m pumped!)

Ryan is a super smart science nerd. He’s a geologist! I had no idea they tested the soil for contaminants (Maybe I should have known that!), and I was shocked to hear how contaminated our ground water is. (Yikes!) Did you know dry cleaners are one of the biggest culprits? They dump some sort of bleach solution, and unfortunately it gets into our water… Especially those on well water. Makes me think twice before dumping liquids down my drain or outside.

Anyway– I’m into science stuff, but I digress.

Back to these two!

We planned to start at Vines Botanical Gardens in Loganville and then head to Arabia Mountain to catch the sunset, but we had so much fun at Vines that we decided to stay for the whole shoot! It’s so versatile there. Plus there was a wedding at the Mansion, and we couldn’t resist the music. (wink)

The weather forecast was showing rain all weekend, so we were worried we’d have to reschedule. Obviously, the clouds cooperated! We wound up with fabulous temperatures and a glorious sunset.

We had so much fun together! Thank you for trusting me during this special time in your lives, Kristen and Ryan! I just adore you both and am really looking forward to your wedding!
