Juliette Chapel Wedding

North Georgia Wedding Venue – Juliette Chapel Wedding Photographer

Bridget and Matt are married!!!!! As I speak, they’re enjoying their honeymoon in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, which is one of my DREAM destination wedding locations. It’s too bad people don’t book me to tag along and document their honeymoon, because… I’d be down!

I’m sure you remember Bridget and Matt. These two love the mountains, and so we did their engagement session up in Dahlonega. That town is the cutest, (and it’s not very far from Preacher’s Rock, which is another epic engagement session location!)

Anyway– This was only my second time at Juliette Chapel, and it was incredible to be back. I felt so much more in my element; my first wedding there was so long ago!! (back toward the beginning of my career.) Not to mention, Bridget and Matt are a dream to work with. Their wedding was so incredibly perfect– gorgeous, and planned to the ‘T’… They had the perfect amount of time to enjoy every single moment. I wish I could go back to this day!

One of my favorite things about Juliette Chapel is the stunning light inside the chapel.

It’s the perfect place for a first look. And they also paved the walkway right next to the chapel, which makes shooting in natural light a DREAM.

And, I’ll tell you what! Bridal reveals have become some of my favorite things ever to do on a wedding day!!!

Bride and Groom – First Look

After the bridal reveals, it was time for Bridget and Matt’s first look. Everyone (me, my second shooter, Matt, Bridget) bawled.
(and their family watched us all from the reception hall) (LOL!)

Bridget gave Matt a very special gift she’d been working on for months. While Matt was deployed recently, Bridget wrote her most private thoughts to him every single day… So from before the Covid pandemic, through it, and all the ins and outs between – her journey while he was serving our country was documented inside this journal.

Yeah. I cried.

Matt and Bridget’s family were so much fun to work with. The girls were so excited all day long, and kept telling me how much fun they were having taking photos. (What a dream!) I really hope this is not the last time I get together with their family. Somehow, some way I really hope we can all get back together to celebrate because I’m in love with their energy.

Bridget and Matt – – from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for choosing me as your photographer. I have had so much fun getting to know you two and finally meeting your friends and family. I am *so* excited about the possibility of seeing you guys again (at Chelsea and Daniel’s wedding!!)

Until next time, my friends.
