Engagement Photographer in Atlanta

Emory University – DOULBE engagement session!

Engagement photographer in Atlanta

Y’all! Okay, so 2020 is THE year for firsts, right?! Insert all the nerves. Daylea contacted me just a few weeks ago, looking for a wedding photographer in Atlanta to capture her gorgeous vows at Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia.

Why the nerves, you ask?? Welllllll, her wedding is RIGHT around the corner (usually couples book me at least 8 months in advance; Daylea’s wedding was about 4 months away!) AND– get this– it’s a double wedding!!

(I couldn’t pass up partying with them!! How cool is this?!?!!)

Engagement Session at Lullwater Park in Atlanta

Daylea and Hadley are so ADORABLE and their grooms are the perfect gentlemen! They’re seriously sweet, and so much fun to photograph! The sisters are just a few years apart, and they grew up inseparable. Their grooms are just as awesome, and when they asked if I’d be interested in their double wedding I could not do anything but get excited. Technically my calendar was already full for 2020, buuuuut I had to make an exception for these four. Especially since they were referred to me by one of my photographer besties! (Thank you, Jessica!!)

Lullwater Park has become a huge hit for my couples. I’ve been there a few times, and every time I go I get a new idea. The place is simply beautiful, and a great microcosm of Atlanta. Nestled inside a massive perimeter of mature trees, Lullwater Park is a quiet place with paved walking trails, unpaved beaten paths, a small waterfall, and a suspension bridge.

After we played around at Lullwater Park for a while, we wrapped up and drove over to Emory University. It’s super close to the park, and since school is canceled (COVID…) the nearly empty campus is perfect for pictures!! (Truly a blessing in disguise!)

While these four were changing clothes, I grabbed their STUNNING rings for some detail shots. I cannot get over these diamonds…

I’m so excited to have the opportunity to celebrate alongside these four at their double wedding this October and cannot WAIT to share their wedding with you!

Until next time!
