Georgia Aquarium Wedding

May 20, 2022

Hey there, friends! I’m thrilled to take you on a journey through Christine and Robert’s Atlanta wedding at the Georgia Aquarium. This tale of love, aviation dreams, and the absolute magic the Georgia Aquarium brings made for an epic, unforgettable day.

This dynamic duo came together in the world of aviation, where Robert soars the skies as a pilot for a popular airline. Christine and I clicked instantly, forging a friendship that extended beyond their wedding day, including lunches with our kids. (I adore her!)

Tara Grell Designs sprinkled magic over Christine and Robert’s wedding, with special attention to a beluga whale gracing the paper ribbon—a nod to the aquarium’s significance in Christine’s heart. The aquarium held precious memories with her late father, and being married there fulfilled a cherished dream.

Getting Ready at the Embassy Suites by Hilton, at Centennial Olympic Park

Our adventure kicked off at the Embassy Suites by Hilton, Centennial Olympic Park, where the morning unfolded in tranquility. Despite not being able to hang Christine’s dress in the aquarium tunnel (oh how we wanted to, but hey, we improvised!), we captured a breathtaking shot at the hotel. Laughter, conversations, and anticipation filled the air as Christine and Robert prepped for their big day.

First Look at Centennial Olympic Park

Opting for a private first look, Christine and Robert stole a moment to relish each other’s company before the chaos of the day unfolded. Their emotions overflowed, with Robert’s overwhelmed and heartfelt reaction leaving Christine beaming with joy. It was pure perfection.

Wedding Party

The arrival of the wedding party brought a burst of energy, and we had a blast capturing their vibrant personalities. The camaraderie and laughter set the tone for a day filled with love and celebration.

Ceremony at The Georgia Aquarium

The ceremony unfolded in the aquarium’s magical setting, followed by a private portrait session surrounded by the enchanting aquatic world. The love between Christine and Robert shimmered like the glistening fish swimming around them.

Tea Ceremony & Reception

As the day progressed, the couple immersed themselves in a tea ceremony, weaving cultural traditions into their celebration. The joyous reception was filled with laughter, dance, and the echo of the aquarium’s gentle waves. I couldn’t help but sense the bittersweet emotions, knowing how much Christine and her mom missed her late father during this poignant moment.

Wedding Reception at the Georgia Aquarium

The reception kicked off with a bang! Our very own private viewing wall offered an exclusive spectacle as beluga whales engaged in playful antics, creating a backdrop of what only dreams are made of. While the kids reveled in the marine marvel, the adults enjoyed the party behind them. It was a harmonious blend of joy and celebration.

As the night drew to a close, their guests enjoyed a unique and symbolic farewell by launching paper airplanes. The airplanes soared, echoing the serendipity that brought these two souls together.

In every sense, it was a perfect day—a symphony of love, laughter, and cherished moments that will linger in the hearts of all who attended – including mine.

Christine and Robert’s Georgia Aquarium wedding was a fairy tale brought to life, weaving together love, friendship, and cherished memories. It’s not just a story of a beautiful day but a testament to the enduring power of love, family, and dreams fulfilled. Until next time, I hope you’ll keep spreading love while I continue capturing special moments. Peace out!
