A newborn session in Bethlehem, Georgia.

As a child, I had two dreams: being a mom and becoming a veterinarian. There is something about newborns that has always captivated me. I can stare at them for hours. I know, it’s weird.

And now that I’m a photographer, I am get the opportunity to document these precious moments for all kinds of families. It’s pretty cool.

As a wedding photographer, I invested in a macro lens because I really love close-up shots of wedding day details. What I didn’t think about is using it to photograph the precious details (that I love so much) of a newborn. (Yeah. Fun!)

I’m still amazed by the fact that we grow humans.

Anyway… It wasn’t long until she was sound asleep.

As I understand it, Dad is a huge Falcons fan. So the new parents wanted a few fun shots of Rylie celebrating her first football season. (She has the perfect birthday! Well planned, dad.)

I *love* how he looks at her.

Thank you so much for inviting me into these precious moments of your life. I was absoultely in love with your maternity photos, and I’m completely melting over these newborn shots. I’m very excited to send you your full gallery!! Thank you both so much for trusting me with Rylie. (See you in about a year for her cake smash!!)

xoxo,

Rocheal
