So, it’s kind of funny! I used to photograph families, but really fell in love with weddings. So my business has primarily become wedding photography. BUT…. Insert THIS family… I couldn’t be more stoked to have been their Atlanta family photographer! (is that annoying?? Me trying to sprinkle in these keywords? lol Sorry!)
Aubrey and Kellen want to say Hi To The World!!! These sweet babies are adorable, and an absolute dream to work with at their Ponce City Market family session. Kellen is turning 3 this month, so the family is celebrating with a documentary-style photoshoot!
Monica, Aubrey and Kellen’s mom, first met me at Chick-fil-A when Santa Perry and I were working their Breakfast with Santa event. I was really excited when she called me to set up a shoot, but even more excited when I met her family.

Monica said she wanted to capture her family right now, because it had been a while since their last shoot and both her babies are getting to be not-so-much babies anymore!!
So that I could really capture this precious family as they authentically play and interact together (when a photographer isn’t around), we kind of just had fun the entire shoot. And let me tell you, the personalities are HUGE.

After some swinging, and ring-around-the-rosie’ing, we decided it was time for some Gelato ice cream from Honeysuckle Gelato. (Aubrey couldn’t have been more excited)

Without any direction from anyone, Aubrey naturally pulled her little brother up, swung her arms around him, and shared her ice cream. Do you have words?! My heart melts.
Finally, what better way to end a shoot than reveal Kellen’s true identity– right in front of Ponce City Market?
If I had one wish, it would be to work with this family again, and document Kellen and Aubrey as they grow.
