Crispin and Brandon are married, y’all!! These two are a prime example of why an engagement session is gifted to every client. Crispin and Brandon’s engagement session back in March was awesome. We met at Vines Botanical Gardens in Loganville and had a blast. They got photos with their kiddos, tons of portraits of the two of them, and perhaps most importantly-  I figured out their best angles and poses together.

Despite the rain snatching about 20 minutes away from our already short portrait time window, they got a ton portraits. Why?? Because they already knew how to pose!

(Those engagement sessions are priceless!)

Anyway– back to their wedding day. As soon as Crispin walked through the door, she jumped into her dress and was ready to party! Her mom was super excited too. I think they were both eager to spend some quality time with their close family and friends.

After some time inside the bridal suite at the Gardens at Great Oaks in Roswell, we headed out into their lovely gardens. If y’all haven’t seen this place, it’s lush and so welcoming– full of beautiful green trees and vines and flowers and trimmed hedges… It’s really like a secret garden.

During Crispin’s bridal portraits, her son caught his first glimpse of her and ran over.

He. Is. So. PRECIOUS!

After bridal portraits, Crispin went into hiding, and we caught some portraits of this handsome fella while Crispin admired him through the window.

She was going gaga through the window over him. (Adorable!)

Shortly thereafter, Joi gathered Brandon’s daughters together for a fun First Look. I think all of them had tears!

Cullen joined the party, and got nothing more than that famous face smush we all remember our moms doing!

Back downstairs, Cullen was hanging out with Brandon (and getting some love from his almost-sisters!) while everyone finished setting up the final details for the ceremony.

While they played out back, Crispin and I headed out front with her daddy for the most beautiful and precious daddy/daughter First Look I’ve ever ever seen. (Yeah. I bawled while I edited these…)

Oh how I love their hands together. (Christy, I am so glad you suggested this shot!)

We talked her brother into a shot, and dad got the best kiss of the night. 😉

Onto the ceremony!!!

(Zoom in! Can you see the rain falling over the guests??)

While everyone was eating dinner, I worked on their Same Day Slideshow… Bringing this out and surprising the bride and groom with it is one of my favorite parts of the evening.

Her dad cried. I cried with him.

Just before their bubble exit, we headed out back for some fun shots with their Neon Sign. 🙂

(Thanks for modeling for me, Shane!)

I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to meet your family Crispin and Brandon. I adore you two, and really loved being apart of such a special time in your lives. Thanks for trusting my crazy ideas, and for being patient with me as I navigated your wedding as a newbie wedding photog. 😉

Thanks for bringing me to Historic Great Oaks! I’m so excited you two are my couple.
