Y’all remember Alexis and Brandon! This is the sweet couple who drove over TWO HOURS to meet me for coffee and chat about their wedding! We wound up hanging out for well over an hour, planning and swooning over this very wedding you’re about to see! Although, there wasn’t a whole lot of planning we had to do; Perry’s Landing takes care of so much!!

The day started much like most wedding days do. Alexis was hanging out with her girls, while Brandon enjoyed some time with his guys pals. (Though, if you could see me behind the scenes at this point, you’d see my second shooter, Becky Casto, and I hovering over all these wedding day details while the wind continued to blow them all over the place! Getting this paper and ribbon to sit still felt like pinning a cat down!)

But it’s pretty!

After Brandon put his final pieces on, we took the guys out in the field for some fun shots.

And it was about this time that Alexis and her girls were toasting to the Big Day too!!

I love the color of their dresses against these florals!! The contrast and ‘pop’ is AMAZING!

While the ladies giggled with their flowers, Brandon was waiting patiently behind the trees behind us for their first look. Becky and I whooshed everyone else off so that the bride and groom could enjoy a private moment together.

I think First Looks are my favorite because it gives the bride and groom a moment during the hustle and bustle of their wedding day to focus on just each other. And, of course, because they get SO many more portraits together!!
