Atlanta Wedding Venue – Sardis United Methodist Church & Olde Towne Special Events
These two are finally married! I’m so honored to be Raegan and Andrew’s wedding photographer. These two are the sweetest!
I’m kind of jealous Raegan isn’t my bestie. She cooks gourmet meals, like nightly, just for fun… And she lives super close to Cochran Shoals, which is the coolest place ever to jog and hike. In fact, that’s where Andrew proposed!!

Right before the Covid lockdown happened, Raegan wanted to stock up on groceries and soak up her last few moments in the community before everything closed up. On their way to dinner, they stopped for a bit off the beaten path to enjoy some quiet time on one of their favorite trails. Little did she know, Andrew was behind her with an engagement ring!! What a way to start the Covid lockdown!!
As the story goes, she started screaming, “Yes!” before he even asked. (I wish I could’ve been there for that!!!)

Olde Towne Special Events Wedding Reception
After their gorgeous ceremony at Sardis United Methodist Church in Atlanta, we headed to Marietta for their reception at Olde Towne Special Events. I’ve had my eye on the gazebo at this place for a while; it lends itself beautifully for stunning portraits.

Do you see the cardboard standees that made it to the dance floor? Raegan and Andrew’s wedding party surprised them with these life-size cardboard cutouts of the two people in the wedding party who couldn’t make it, due to Covid. (So creative and thoughtful!! People have been so awesome during these Covid weddings— I love all the ideas I’m seeing!! Covid can’t stop love, y’all!)
A super fun fact: my son, Kellen, came as a lighting assistant to Raegan and Andrew’s wedding and he did a superb job holding the flash for this shot. (Thanks for letting him come along, Mr. and Mrs. Holladay!)
I hope this isn’t the last time I see you guys! Congratulations!!! I hope you have a blast in Alaska, friends.
Until next time,
Rocheal
