Kacey & Casey | Luxury Sugar Hill Wedding is beyond words, y’all. Kacey and Casey Give. Me. LIFE!!! (Yeah, we did nicknames for posing… It got intense.)
These two first met in college, and Casey (boy) had an instant crush on Kacey (girl). However, she’d promised herself she wasn’t in school for the dating; she wanted to get her studies on. On the very last day of class they finally went on a date and that was when Kacey knew they had something special. As she puts it, “God had waited for the perfect time to bring us together.”
She was completely in love, and so was he.

Casey and Kacey took their fur baby Waffles, (I’m not making these names up) to Jekyll Island and unknowingly to Kacey, Case was planning to propose.
Parallel to their college story, as they were bringing their trip to an end, Case suggested one last walk on the beach. As they meandered to the sandbar Case said, “Let me look at you one last time,” and before she knew it he was on one knee.
Kacey was literally jumping for Joy. And the second the could gather her thoughts again, she knew she wanted her wedding to be at Ashton Gardens.
One of the coolest things about Ashton Gardens is the Chapel. It’s the perfect place for the Bride to have her bridal reveals, which is one of my favorite parts of the wedding day!

The way this family loves is so inspiring to me personally.
By the time they reached out to me, Kacey and Casey had already decided they absoultely didn’t want a First Look on their wedding day. But after we talked about it over coffee before their engagement session, I could see both of them wonder if maybe they in fact *did* want one.
It wasn’t long before we were on the phone talking about it again, and I learned the two of them were beyond excited about it. Kacey’s sweet mom was even excited for them, and mentioned she wished SHE had had those private moments with her husband on her wedding day. (so sweet!!!!)

And then there was the time Casey prayed a beautiful prayer about how thankful he was for his family’s support, Kacey’s family’s welcoming love, and something less memorable about football.
Which made me wish I could make their wedding last all night long because they’re SUCH a fun bunch of people.
Never take a moment for granted.
Bubble Exit at Ashton Gardens
I usually pick one exit photo for the blog, but I couldn’t choose a favorite! Each picture has its own character, so I had to include all 3!
Thank you so much for choosing me to capture these precious moments at your wedding, and trusting me with your memories. I adore your families so much, and can’t wait to see you all again. Your friendship means the world to me.
xoxo,
Rocheal
